I am a small farmer in the state of Jharkhand in India. My family is very poor. The earnings from my vegetable cultivation were too low to set aside money for our children’s school needs. They I needed to raise my income but I didn’t know how. It was HAC Foundation that connected me with the District Farming Department in Khunti. Through them, I received a poly-house nursery, seed bed, mulch and micro drip irrigation system. Now I cultivate strawberries which is very profitable for small farmers like me. We have enough for food as well as our children’s education. I want them to study so that they can have a bright future ahead.
